A small Bristol tapas room that runs warm and cosy rather than hushed, so a bit of toddler chatter won't feel out of place — though it does get properly noisy at busy times, and one family celebrating a birthday found it too much. Plates arrive in a steady flow rather than all at once, which helps when someone's patience is running out, and the staff are consistently kind and quick to greet you at the door. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and a few outdoor tables are all there. Worth ordering: the calamari, the duck with orange, the triple-cooked potatoes, chicken skewers and focaccia with dips. Do go in knowing the tapas format adds up — two or three plates each, and it can land near £45 a head with a drink.
