Cafés · Plymouth
Tucked away in an industrial pocket of Plymouth, this is very much a local spot — quiet, clean and run by a family who genuinely seem pleased to see children walk in. There's a proper play area and a stack of board games, which buys you the ten minutes it takes for a coffee to land. Breakfast is the thing to order: the full English gets talked about a lot, and you can have breakfast and a drink for around £8. Baguettes come slightly warmed, the cappuccinos are good, and they'll do takeaway if you're heading to the moors with a picnic. High chairs, a kids' menu, outdoor seating and easy buggy access, and parking is never an issue. It's small, so a big group might feel snug, but the welcome more than makes up for it.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
