I-Chai Restaurant (Anniesland)
An easygoing Glasgow restaurant with a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan options, comfortable for a relaxed family meal.

Lunch · Glasgow
Come hungry — portions here are the kind that send you home with a doggy bag, and the boxes (buffalo, salt and chilli, hot) are what families keep coming back for. It's a laid-back spot with high chairs, a kids' menu and free parking, which takes the stress out of the trip in, and the team are generally chatty and warm with customers. Milkshakes are a good bribe. Two honest caveats: it's not the cheapest lunch you'll have, and quality has wobbled for some regulars lately — dry chicken wraps and soggy chips have crept in, mostly on delivery. Eat in if you can. Vegetarians will find the options thin. One family travelled in from Cumbernauld by train and reckoned it was "well worth the journey".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
