A laid-back Birmingham pub with a kids' menu, vegan options, and outdoor seating — easy for a casual family meal.

Cafés · Birmingham
A café with a soft play and role-play barn attached, this one splits parents sharply, so it's worth knowing what you're walking into. When it's good it's genuinely lovely — a decent spread of toys and play areas that hold a two-year-old's attention, friendly staff on the counter, good coffee, high chairs and a kids' menu, and prices low enough that a morning out costs very little. Birthday hire gets warm praise: the team sorted themed party bags and food that guests raved about. But the back role-play room runs cold — several families have left early because of it, and a small portable heater doesn't fix it in winter. Cleanliness is inconsistent too, with some visitors finding tired toys and grubby toilets. There's no nappy bin, and space gets tight when it's busy.
