Cafés · Woodbridge
Five minutes from Woodbridge, this farm café sits alongside a farm shop and a small plant stall, with a field outside where children can have a go at welly throwing — enough of a distraction to buy you a hot drink. The extended outdoor area, some of it shaded, means tables are much easier to come by, and parking is free and plentiful. Inside there's a decent amount of space, so prams aren't a problem, and the staff will happily split a dish across two plates. Food is fresh and generous: the full English, huge sausage rolls, a brie toastie, and a lemon, blueberry and mint cake people rave about. One snag worth knowing — kitchen timings can wobble at busy breakfast times, with plates in a group arriving well apart, so it's not the spot for a hangry toddler on a Sunday.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
