About Full Court Press

Come for the coffee, which parents in Bristol talk about the way other people talk about wine — single-origin beans rotating from Ethiopia to China, three or four to choose from, and staff who'll happily talk you through the lot while a toddler tugs your sleeve. The team are warm and genuinely patient. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, and there's buggy access at the front, but be honest with yourself about the seating: indoors is tiny, down some steep steps, and not somewhere you'll wrestle a pram. On a decent day the outdoor tables are the answer. Get there early for the pastries — the blueberry flapjacks and almond croissants sell out. It isn't cheap, and coffee runs to around £5, but one regular calls it "my favourite coffee house in Bris".
