Brook Coffee Rooms
A laid-back Sheffield café with a kids' menu, high chairs, and outdoor seating — easy for a family coffee stop.

Cafés · Sheffield
A walk up through the park and out at the dam is what brings most families here, and it earns the stop. Ordering runs off tablets with a buzzer to call you back, so nobody's stuck in a queue with a toddler on their hip — though at weekends and on sunny days it heaves and food takes a while. There's covered outdoor seating and buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu, and free parking. Inside is notably quiet, no music, which one parent found "calm and relaxing" — rare in a café this busy. The chip butties come with thick chips, the chicken burger arrives hot even when it's full, and the ice creams (including plant-based) get real praise. Vegan and gluten-free are well covered. Prices are fair on the whole, though the £9.50 burger has left some cold.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
