Cafés · Cannock
Tucked right into the trees on Cannock Chase, this is the kind of stop that works well after a muddy morning out — free parking, level access from the car park, and both indoor and outdoor seating so you're not stuck if the little one needs air. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and plenty of room to get a pram in. The cakes are made on site and worth the detour, and the bacon rolls and coffee do the job for a proper breakfast. Staff are genuinely warm — one family mentions being escorted back to their table when the food buzzer went. It's dog friendly with resident dogs and goats to say hello to, which children tend to love. Family-run, gentle pace, and inexpensive. It also hosts private events, so worth checking ahead at busy times.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
