The tempura prawns are huge, juicy and crispy with a moreish noodle salad, and the Sunday roasts come with genuinely generous portions and plenty of gravy; the sea bass with saffron mash gets particular praise. Staff are friendly and will check dishes with the chef for you, which helps if you've got a vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free child in tow.
