Soup Co | Malatang Hot Pot Noodles 麻辣烫
Hot pot in Manchester — 4.0★ (287 Google reviews).

Asian · Manchester
A no-frills Chinatown-adjacent spot where the point is warm, filling food rather than anything fancy — handy with a pram, with high chairs and a kids' menu, and a chilled, unfussy room where a bit of toddler noise won't register. Service is quick, which matters when someone's melting down: soups arrive fast, every one at a flat £11.80, so there are no surprises on the bill. Portions are generous — the special fried rice, sweet and sour ribs and noodles get the most praise, and the bao is properly fluffy. Chilli oil sits on every table at no charge. Be honest with yourself about the misses: the katsu curry and some of the dumplings can be bland, and there's no air conditioning, so it's more a cold-and-rainy-day place. Around £45 fed three.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
