Poppadoms and dips get raved about, as do the onion bhajis, the chicken korma and the butter tikka, and there's a proper veggie chef's special so nobody's left with a token dish. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and free parking, and food arrives quickly, which matters when patience is running short. Two honest snags: there's a large step at the entrance, which is awkward with a buggy, and the lighting is bright and a little clinical rather than cosy. It gets busy, so book. Portions and prices are fair for the quality — one parent called the service "10/10".
