The Eagles Corner
Relaxed Nottingham pub with a toy corner, warm staff, cracking fish and chips, free parking and a sunny back terrace.

Restaurant · Nottingham
A proper local pub that hasn't forgotten families exist — there's a kids' menu, high chairs, free parking and enough room to get a buggy in without a fuss. The outside area is the real draw in warm weather, with shaded and sunny spots so you can park up with a drink while the children potter; a bouncy castle appears at times too. The chicken wings get genuine praise for not being dry, the sharing platter suits a bigger group, and breakfast burgers have their fans. Prices are gentle and food comes out quickly. Worth knowing: it's a proper community pub with sports screens, lunchtime bingo and DJ nights, so weekend evenings get loud — one visitor found they had to shout across the table. Daytimes are much calmer. Dog-friendly, and the staff are consistently warm.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
