My Sister's House
A friendly Cardiff café with a kids' menu and high chairs, easy for a relaxed family meal out.

Pub · Cardiff
A proper old-school Cardiff local on Clifton Street, warm in a way that's hard to fake — new management has the place clean and the welcome genuine, and the regulars will chat to you whether you want them to or not. There's a lot of room here, which matters when you've got a pram: comfortable seating, a big bar, a back room with a well-kept pool table, plus darts and skittles for older children who need something to do. High chairs and a kids' menu are available, and prices are gentle — one visitor called it "cheap as chips". Timing is everything, though. Weekday afternoons are quiet and easy; Saturday nights bring karaoke, DJs and a lively local crowd, far too loud for little ones. Come early, come midweek, and it's a friendly, unpretentious stop.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
