The Brasshouse
Pub in Birmingham with outdoor seating — 4.1★ (3,001 Google reviews).

Indian · Birmingham
Handy to know if you're in the city with children and everywhere else has stopped serving — the kitchen runs late, and there's a three-course deal before 7pm that keeps the bill sensible. Seating is roomy with plenty of tables, and you can ask for a more tucked-away spot if you'd rather not have your table's noise on show; high chairs and a kids' menu are there, and vegan and vegetarian dishes are properly done — the vegetarian biryani comes in a generous portion. The lamb rogan josh and the onion bhaji get particular praise, and the naan arrives fresh and hot. Staff are warm and welcoming. One caveat: on a busy night service can stretch, with mains and the bill both slow to appear, so bring something to keep small hands occupied.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
