Tucked on Dale Street, this small Sicilian spot runs busy for good reason, so it's worth timing lunch either side of the rush or expecting a short wait for a table — buggy access and high chairs are there when you get in, and there's a kids' menu. The all-day menu helps enormously with odd toddler eating hours: coffee and focaccia at eleven, arancini and lasagne at three. The arancini al ragù, the pistachio focaccia and the parmigiana come in for particular praise, and portions are filling without being pricey. The owners chat to tables and recommend dishes, and the team handled a group of eight through a lunch rush without anyone waiting long. Relaxed but with a proper buzz and good music — one visitor called it "a small slice of Italy".
