Cafés · Woodbridge
Set on a working riding and stables centre in the Suffolk countryside, this little café has a viewing point over the arena and the fields beyond, which does an enormous amount of the entertaining for you — small children will happily watch the horses while you finish a pot of tea. Buggy access is fine, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and outdoor seating for warm days. Portions are generous and prices genuinely low; the Victoria sponge, Sunday roast, tuna salad and the burger and chips all draw praise, and the daily special is good value. Two honest snags: there aren't many tables, so ring ahead if there are more than a few of you, and customer parking is a rough, uneven patch of ground rather than the tarmac near the door. Breakfasts can be hit and miss. Staff are warm and welcoming.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
