There's a kids' menu, high chairs and step-free buggy access, and the team are unfailingly patient (one visitor mentions they'll happily help you practise your Welsh). Service is quick, portions are generous — the bacon and egg baps defeat most people — and the cakes are worth the trip alone, meringues especially. The wagyu burger sells out, so have a second choice ready. The aircraft museum is a short walk across the car park, which makes rainy school-holiday days work.
