Right by the visitor centre on the way out to the castle, this is an easy stop with a pram — level access, high chairs, and a kids' menu, plus a pay-and-display car park just outside with around 30 spaces. The glass frontage means castle, sea and mountain views from almost every table, which buys you a few extra minutes of small people staring out the window. The homemade cakes are the draw — carrot cake especially — alongside a lamb and mint pie people rave about, jacket potatoes with generous portions for the price, Welsh rarebit and a veggie breakfast. Coffee is locally roasted, though decaf can come out weak. Staff are patient and genuinely welcoming; one visitor found "nothing is too much trouble". It gets busy in season, and there's a four-per-table limit. Vegan options and outdoor seating too, with blankets on the terrace.
