Staff are warm and attentive even when it's heaving, though service can drag: drinks have taken fifteen minutes to arrive at busy sittings, so order everything at once and bring something to occupy small hands. Food is generally strong — the seafood platter, tandoori monkfish on dhal and Devon crab on toast all get praised, and there are vegan options. Afternoon tea has disappointed for the price.
