The staff are the reason people come back: warm, attentive, and genuinely good with children, and there's a decent kids' menu alongside big cooked breakfasts made with thick-cut bacon and sausages from local suppliers. Hot drinks come with free refills, syrups included, which helps when you're stretching out a rainy morning. There are baby changing facilities in the toilets, high chairs, outdoor seating for sunny days, and free parking right outside, so getting everyone in is easy. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the quality, though it isn't the cheapest café in town. One parent describes it as "hidden in plain sight" — worth finding.
