Staff come up again and again as the strong point: friendly, patient and organised even when it's heaving, which matters when you've got a hungry child. Mixed grills, ribs and the harissa salmon all land well, and the three-starters deal brings generous plates out fast. Two honest snags: steaks can arrive cooked past what you asked for, and puddings disappoint more often than not — stick to mains. Popular items sell out at busy times, and drinks are a little pricey.
