The food is Italian small plates, which suits children who want to pick: arancini gets the most praise, along with the potatoes with onion and sage aioli, devilled eggs, pizzette and homemade pistachio gelato. Vegan families do properly well here, with enough choice to work through over several visits. Service is quick and unfussy, staff are consistently warm, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs and outdoor tables. Two honest notes: it's a buzzy, chatty room rather than a quiet one, and portions are small plates in the true sense — the £15 meat and cheese board left one table underwhelmed.
