Oowee Vegan Baldwin St. - Plant Based Burgers, Fried Chicken & Shakes.
Vegan junk food done properly — chick'n burgers, marmite fries and Biscoff shakes, with high chairs, a kids' menu and loud music.

Tucked into a corner of St Nicholas Market inside the Corn Exchange, this small Hong Kong-style spot is easy to find and easy to like with children in tow. It's genuinely tiny and cosy rather than roomy, so a big pram may be a squeeze at busy lunchtimes, but the food comes out fast and hot — useful when someone's patience is running low. Portions are bigger than the window photos suggest, and the char siu buns, chicken thigh with spring onion and rice, and thick veggie coconut curry all get praised, with bubble egg waffles, mango cake and milk teas for afters. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and the family who run it are unfailingly smiley. One parent noted the food is "so good you'd dream about it."

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
