About Albert's Schloss - Manchester

Bavarian-sized portions and a properly vibrant room — this is the sort of place where nobody notices a child making noise, because the music and chatter drown everything anyway. Weekend afternoons get genuinely loud, so if you want a quiet chat across the table, come midweek. Tables are booked in two-hour slots, and reservations matter, especially for seasonal menus. The schnitzel and fries is simple and delicious, the pork knuckle vast enough that dessert becomes impossible, and there are plenty of small plates for grazing. High chairs, buggy access and a kids' menu are all sorted, and there's a cosy fire pit by the entrance and booths at the back. Staff work fast in a busy room, food arrives quickly, and they'll happily do non-alcoholic versions of drinks. One parent found the team "attentive without hovering" — no table left waiting.
