Restaurant · Swansea
Right in the middle of Swansea, this is a big, sprawling lounge with sofas as well as tables — the kind of room where a pram isn't a problem and nobody minds a bit of noise. The dimly lit, deliberately mismatched decor gives it real character, and there's plenty of space for a whole family or a birthday group. Order at the bar or scan the QR code at your table, which is a small mercy when you can't easily get up. The menu is unusually wide — brunch, noodles, curries, burgers, sandwiches, tapas — with a kids' menu, proper vegan and gluten-free choices, and high chairs. Avocado on toast and the shakshuka get particular praise, as do the chunky roast potatoes. Food generally arrives quickly, though desserts can lag behind mains on a busy day. Around £10–20 a head, and there's outdoor seating too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
