The room is a genuine plus — tables are properly spaced rather than crammed in, so a pram or a wriggly toddler isn't a problem, and there's air conditioning that earns its keep in summer. Staff are warm and chatty, happy to steer you towards something new, and generous with extra naan and rice. Portions are big enough that leftovers go home in a box without you asking. Worth knowing: it's unlicensed, so bring your own drinks, and on busy nights food can take a good 40 minutes — order poppadoms first. The decor is looking a bit tired, but the cooking more than makes up for it.
