Nando's Southampton - WQ Shopping
Roomy, lively Westquay stop with fast food, high chairs and spice levels to suit everyone — busy at peak times.

Japanese · Southampton
Handy after a WestQuay shopping trip, especially with children who've run out of patience — the conveyor belt means food lands in front of them almost immediately, and the colour-coded menu makes it easy for a child to point at what they want. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a pram in. Ordering runs through an app, which spares you a queue while someone's melting down. Staff are noticeably patient and easy to flag down. The Korean street chicken and chicken tsukune get particular praise, there's veggie yakisoba and edamame for vegan eaters, and the fries with their house sauce are oddly brilliant for a sushi place. Weekends can be busy and bookings need 24 hours' notice — one family went two days running.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
