Tucked into the middle of Brighton, this is a small Turkish kitchen where the welcome does a lot of the heavy lifting — the team greet you at the door, are quick and unhurried with a table of children, and more than one family has left with a complimentary appetiser or dessert they didn't ask for. Portions are generous enough that a few small plates and one shared main will feed everyone, which helps with picky eaters, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs and plenty for vegans. The feta spring rolls and the seabass with rice come up again and again, and the homemade baklava — nutty, syrup-soaked — is the thing regulars come back for.
