CUPP Brighton - Coffee. Matcha. Boba.
A laid-back Brighton café serving coffee, matcha, and kid-pleasing boba — an easy stop for a drink mid-outing.

Pub · Brighton
Right in the thick of the North Laine, this is a stripped-back, contemporary pub with cosy corners, warm lighting and comfortable seats — good for a mid-shop refuel with kids in tow. Food arrives quick and hot, which matters when someone's patience has run out, and the children's roast portion at £8.95 is genuinely good value. Grown-ups rate the loaded chips (bacon and cheddar, crisp bits all the way through), the burgers and the bangers and mash; classic pub grub is the safer bet than the Sunday roast, which can be hit and miss. There are high chairs, a kids' menu and a small outdoor area out the back. Worth knowing: it gets cramped and the music turns up loud on Friday and Saturday nights, and the beer isn't cheap. Weekday lunchtimes are calmer and staff are friendly and attentive.
