Café · Llandudno
Right on the West Shore with the water and Anglesey in view, this little café has been going twenty-odd seasons and it shows in how smoothly it runs — spotless inside, plenty of booths, and food generally on the table within half an hour even when it's full. The cooking is proper home cooking: Welsh rarebit and bara brith, fish finger sandwiches on light bread, sausage and mash that people go back for, pies, cod and chips. Cakes are a real draw, often with a gluten-free option beyond the usual brownie. High chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access, plus free parking along the shore road. It gets loud with chatter when busy, and the outdoor tables — lovely under the umbrellas — need watching for seagulls.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
