The team are warm and stay welcoming even on the busiest days, and the outdoor tables with river views are worth angling for in decent weather. Portions are generally generous, the hummus bowl and the vegan breakfast get particular praise, and vegetarian, vegan and hot drink choices are wide. Cakes and scones are good too. It is a touch pricey — you're paying for the setting — and quality has wobbled since it changed hands, so it's not always as consistent as it once was. Dog friendly.
