The carvery is the draw — a decent choice of meats and all the trimmings, in portions that don't leave anyone picking at a side plate — and there's a buffet breakfast that's worth arriving near opening for, before the bacon has been sitting. Ordering happens by QR code at the table, which is quietly brilliant when a toddler won't stay seated, and food tends to land quickly. The menu is clearly labelled for allergies and there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, outdoor seating and free parking. Prices are genuinely low. Desserts are enormous — one family took half the chocolate fudge cake home.
