Chopstix - Southampton Westquay
Quick, generous Chinese counter food in Westquay with a kids' menu, high chairs, cheerful staff and a robot floor cleaner kids love.

Restaurant · Southampton
Perched on the top floor of the West Quay shopping centre, this is a big, roomy branch — plenty of space to park a pram without blocking anyone, and the size means the noise of a fidgety toddler disappears into the general hum. Staff are genuinely good with small children: high chairs sorted straight away, and one family were brought slices of cucumber to keep their toddler happy while they waited. If there's a queue, you're handed a menu to look at, and it rarely moves slowly. Food comes out fast, which matters. The steak dishes and soba get particular praise, and the edamame and prawn crackers keep small hands busy. Kids' menu, vegan options, decent value for what you get. Worth knowing: depending on where you're sat, the afternoon sun comes straight in your eyes.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
