Relaxed harbourside spot with quick QR ordering, a kids' menu and outdoor seating over Royal William Yard's boats.

Restaurant · Plymouth
Bright, modern and open-plan, with the kitchen on show — which buys you a good ten minutes of small people watching noodles get tossed about. Food arrives fast, often startlingly so, which matters when someone's patience has run out; the flip side is dishes land when they're ready rather than in courses, so a main can beat a starter to the table. Bench seating isn't the comfiest for a long sit-down, and it gets genuinely noisy when full — worth knowing if you've a child who finds that hard. Staff are warm without hovering, cutlery comes without asking, and the vegan menu is a real one: the bang bang cauliflower and banana katsu get particular praise. Prices creep up with side dishes. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and a few outdoor tables.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
