The carvery and Sunday roast draw the most praise, along with the fish and chips, the paninis and omelettes, and chilli potatoes one family could "eat all day". The coffee is a genuine highlight. Worth knowing: it gets busy and booking ahead is wise, and cake and a cuppa for two adds up fast.
