Dee Dee's Family Cafe
A family-friendly café in Penzance, mid-priced and rated 4.3, worth a stop when you're out with the kids.

Restaurant · Penzance
Set within Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, this is the kind of stop where the setting does half the work — sculptures to look at on the way in, a terrace for sunny days, and free parking so you're not circling Penzance with a car full of tired children. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all sorted, and food comes out fast, which matters when someone's patience is running out. The cooking is genuinely good: crab linguine, battered cod, a corn cob salad thick with flavour, generous Sunday roasts, and cakes (the orange polenta especially) worth the detour on their own. Staff are warm and attentive without hovering. Worth knowing you can eat here without paying to enter the gardens — and it's wise to ring ahead, as it fills up.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
