Cafés · Yateley
A small, single-room play café where you can see your child the whole time — which is exactly what you want when you're trying to drink a coffee while a one-year-old is on the loose. There's a separate corner for the tiniest ones with bouncy chairs, and the toy selection rotates: a play kitchen, ride-ons, a baby area. The coffee genuinely is good, the sandwiches are fresh (though the lunchbox portions suit smaller appetites — order the pizza if yours eats properly), and the cakes get mentioned again and again. Prices are reasonable and the staff are warm. Two honest snags: it's one small room, so on a busy day it feels tight and there's nowhere obvious to park a buggy, and the atmosphere depends a lot on who else is in. Plenty of parking outside.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
