A ramen spot that works better with children than you'd expect — it's genuinely spacious inside, so a pram isn't a problem, and the layout means you're not squeezed against the next table. Food comes out fast, which matters when someone's hit the wall: bowls of thick, creamy tonkotsu broth with proper thin noodles, karaage that arrives crisp from the fryer, gyoza and dumplings for sharing, and rainbow salads if you want something lighter. Vegetarian and vegan eaters do well here — the chilli tofu ramen and deep-fried enoki mushrooms get particular praise. High chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor seating are all sorted. The weekday lunch set at around £10 is the value pick, though it's not served at weekends, and it fills up even at 2pm midweek. Staff are chatty and patient, and one family describes the atmosphere as "relaxed and welcoming".
