Coffee Shops · Bury Saint Edmunds
Tucked away enough that you might drive past it, but there's real space here — a bright, roomy café inside and an enclosed garden with patio seating, so a pram isn't a problem and free parking takes the stress out of arriving. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, and a play area, plus dogs are welcome. The homemade chocolate fudge cake gets the loudest praise, and the Greek salad, the cheese and tomato sandwich, and the toffee hazelnut iced latte all come recommended; plenty of vegan and non-dairy options too, at prices families call extremely reasonable. Worth knowing: on busy walking-route days the queue and the kitchen can both drag, and service has felt brisk to some, so go when you're not against the clock. Fridays in term time the main hall becomes a soft play session, which is a whole different sort of morning out.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
