Café · Worcester
Greek cooking done properly, in a room where the welcome feels more like walking into someone's kitchen than a café — the staff spot first-timers, point out deals you'd have missed, and swap out the baked beans without a fuss, which bodes well if your child eats around things. Chicken gyros in warm, soft pitas gets the loudest praise, along with the souvlaki, the spicy feta dip with chips, and the chicken and chorizo burger; the orange cake and baklava are worth taking home. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, vegan and vegetarian choices, and tables outside. Allergies are handled carefully. Saturday lunchtime gets genuinely busy, so book — one family was glad they had. The toilets could do with freshening up, but the atmosphere is warm and unhurried.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
