Cafés · Seaford
Tucked five minutes' walk from the beach, this is a small, old-school family-run café where the cooked breakfast does most of the heavy lifting — full English, or a veggie version with sausage, beans, eggs and toast that regulars rate just as highly. Food arrives fast, which matters when someone's hungry and wobbling. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a buggy in, plus free parking, and the owners are warm without fussing. Prices are fair for a decent plate, and the cappuccinos and homemade cakes are worth staying for. Two things to know: it's genuinely popular with locals so it's worth booking at busy times, and it's very dog-friendly — lovely if you've got one in tow, less so if your child is nervous around them.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
