Food is typical pub fare done quickly and hot, at prices that won't sting: pizzas, pasta and chicken all get good mentions, and portions are generous. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and staff work hard to get orders out fast, which matters when someone's hungry and fraying. Worth knowing: it's packed most days and gets lively on football nights, the downstairs toilets look tired, and service can be hit-or-miss when it's rammed.
