Pub · Glasgow
Set inside a handsome city-centre hotel building, this is a big, busy Wetherspoons-style pub with far more room than most Glasgow bars — genuinely spacious inside, so a pram isn't a battle, and there's outdoor seating that's a pleasant spot in warm weather. Food is typical pub fare done quickly and hot, at prices that won't sting: pizzas, pasta and chicken all get good mentions, and portions are generous. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and staff work hard to get orders out fast, which matters when someone's hungry and fraying. Worth knowing: it's packed most days and gets lively on football nights, the downstairs toilets look tired, and service can be hit-or-miss when it's rammed. One family rated the Friday fish and chips, though the fish itself is frozen.

A much-loved traditional Glasgow pub with a wall of malt whiskies and a warm, easy atmosphere for a family bite.
