Templebar Inn
A budget-friendly Narberth pub with a kids' menu, high chairs, and outdoor seating — an easy, relaxed choice for a family meal out.

Bar & grill · Narberth
Tucked above the sea at Amroth, this is the kind of stop that rescues a long drive — big plates, quick smiles, and a large indoor play area with a pirate theme that keeps small ones busy while you finish your dinner. Portions are generous for the money: cod and chips, ribs, a steak ciabatta people rave about, and a veggie burger that wins over non-vegetarians. Gluten-free is handled properly, down to the children's nuggets. Wooden booths outside come with heaters and a sea view, there's free parking out front and more at the rear, and the team stay cheerful through wriggly toddlers and unsettled dogs. Fair warning: the play area is a bit tired and could do with a refresh, and big tables do better pre-ordering. One family celebrated a 98th birthday here, eleven of them, and left happy.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
