Handy if you're arriving into Central Station with children in tow — it's a short walk down the street, so nobody has to be marched far. Booking is worth it if you need pram space; families who've asked in advance say a spot was set aside for them, and it does get busy and noisy at peak times. Food comes hot and portions are generous: the steak pie is packed with seasoned beef under a proper crust with mash and root veg, the Sunday roast comes with unlimited trimmings (gluten-free sorted on request), and the birria dog, burgers and salt and chilli squid all get singled out.
