Set in an old industrial building on the quay, this is a proper coastal fish place — not polished inside, but full of character, with picnic tables by the water when the weather plays along and stunning harbour views. The fish is local, fresh and simply cooked, and portions are generous enough that half portions still fill a plate, which suits smaller appetites. Fish goujons come in big piles, the calamari and curry sauce get raved about, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and free parking. Service is quick, friendly and unfussy. Worth knowing: it gets busy, booking is sensible, and on bank holidays arrive five minutes early to be sure of a parking space. Chips can be hit and miss on an off day. Regulars call it "busy for a reason".
