There's a clean, tidy seating area inside with high chairs and a kids' menu, plus table service at no extra cost — a genuine kindness when you can't leave a child at the table to queue. Everything's cooked to order in beef dripping, so expect a short wait; the haddock comes out fresh and generous, the chips plump and crisp, and the battered sausage is a reliable win with children. Portions are big for the money. It does get busy with tourists, and quality can wobble on a bad day, but families mostly leave happy and well fed.
