That spacing matters at lunch with a toddler. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, buggy access is straightforward, and there's outdoor seating in warmer weather. The menu leans on local produce with plenty for vegetarians; the lamb shank, chicken schnitzel and lobster and prawn tagliatelle all get talked about, portions are generous, and the sticky toffee pudding is worth the room you save. Staff are attentive without hovering and happy to guide you through the menu. It's a proper occasion place rather than a quick bite — dinner for three ran to £230 with wine — and Saturday nights get buzzy, so book.
