Tucked inside a garden centre just outside town, this is the kind of place where a queue on a Sunday actually means something — most families wait ten to twenty minutes and say it was worth it. Inside it's cosy and comfortably furnished, with big windows looking out, and food arrives fast even during busy service, which matters when someone's patience is running thin. Breakfast is the strong suit: proper Cornish plates, pancakes, omelettes, thoughtfully put-together options including vegan choices, and cake slices one visitor called "to die for" — genuinely massive. Salads are generous too, the Shed Salad especially. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access, outdoor seating and free parking are all sorted, and prices come in slightly lower than you'd expect. Worth knowing: the veggie breakfast sausages are actually vegetable fingers, and midday Sunday is the busiest stretch.
