The Little Bull Café & Bar
Quiet Tonbridge café with a kids' menu, high chairs, step-free buggy access and outdoor seating — booking recommended.

Gastropub · Tonbridge
Set in a smart Kent village, this is a proper grown-up gastropub that still makes room for children — a kids' menu, high chairs, tables outside and free parking mean you're not fighting the logistics before you sit down. The dining room with its fireplace is genuinely cosy, and the team are the reason people come back: attentive, warm, and meticulous about allergies (one family had a phone call ahead of their visit to get the details right). Food is ambitious — short rib, risotto, a cauliflower veloute people still talk about, and a Sunday roast with plentiful veg and good cauliflower cheese — though the odd dish lands over-salted, and at this price a few have found the roast merely fine. It's a special-occasion sort of place rather than a Tuesday teatime one, and worth booking.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
