Cafés · Wolverhampton
Set right on the Railway Walk at Bratch Lane, this is the sort of stop that works whether you've walked, cycled or driven — parking down the side of the café is free and easy, and one family reported pushing a pram along the trail without hitting any difficult terrain. The garden and platform seating overlooking the old line means plenty of room to spread out, with a smaller number of tables inside. Portions are generous and prices reasonable: cooked breakfasts, halloumi and avocado hot sandwiches, a vegan rainbow bagel with smashed avocado and pickled red onions, proper barista coffee and lemon cake. Food arrives promptly and the team are warm with everyone. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and they'll put down a bowl of water for the dog. Parking in the wider area can get tight at busy walking times.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
